Now is the best time to start!

We run junior classes on Saturday mornings during term time for ages six to twelve. It's a fun alternative to keep them fit and improve co-ordingation. Dancing to the latest hits, the kids classes are a fun way to learn a skill that will set you up on the dance floor. Our fun kids class is a combination of both Ballroom and Latin with some Rock n Roll.


We run classes during each school term and train the kids up through the medal system starting at Grade 1 and progressing through to Bronze, Silver and Gold medals. Our Kids Team even perform at in our Annual shows !
They learn really quickly when they are young and if you start them dancing early it's a skill they will enjoy for life !

It doesn't have to be with a partner. Girls get practice and build confindence dancing in a group and with a teacher. Boys are especially welcome!

Beginner Class: This covers an introduction to dancing including slow rhythm, cha cha and samba, Initially it is a half hour class which can extend to one hour once proficient in the basics. This class allows students to complete medal exams for grade 1 and grade 2. Additional dances that are covered are Waltz, Jive and Rock n Roll.
Intermediate Class: Note that initially students may attend half beginner and half intermediate class to transition to the next level. This class builds on previous dances adding further steps, technique and style. Additional dances covered at intermediate level are Quickstep, Tango and Rumba. This class covers exams for bronze through to silver medals.
Advanced Class: This class is for those at gold medal and above. The class covers advanced technique and performance work. Additional dances covered are Paso Doble and the Foxtrot. Other dance styles such as street latin, new vogue and funk are taught from time to time.
